We do NOT adopt outside of NJ.<br/>We will consider PA but depending on where in PA.<br/>Must have a full fenced in yard. Must own your own home!<br/><br/>Rocky was found by the PD as a stray!<br/>We believe he's 6yrs old. He was completely vetted on Nov 12th 2024.<br/>Rocky does have a torn ACL yet you would NEVER know it. <br/>He runs all over the place. Does normal things. <br/><br/>Vet suggested not to do the surgery until it bothers him yet, we will have the surgery performed but not until we have an approved adopter. Reason for this is, we have many dogs and he wouldn't get the care he needed if surgery was done while in our care.<br/><br/>Rocky is crate trained. He loves to walk with his leash in his mouth. He loves all toys. Loves to nibble on your ear or arm. He cracks us up. Loves car rides.<br/><br/>But.. You can't take him anywhere and for a few reasons. One, everyone wants to love on him and you will never get in or out of anywhere. Two.. take him into a store, especially a pet store and he will grab any and EVERY toy he see's in his sight. We can never get out of a store without Rocky causing some chaos and leaving others laughing. <br/><br/>He weights in at 44pds. He's short and stocky. He's house trained. We are looking for a home for him with no other pets. He does get along with other dogs outside but not in the same home. We have cats on the property. He has no reaction to them but we're not sure how he'd do indoors and we prefer a home with no cats to be a on the safe side.<br/>He's great with all humans yet.. he's very strong. He's not a candidate for a home with small children. <br/>He's toy and food aggressive around other dogs. He's afraid of a vacuum, a leaf blower or any sort of a stick. For more info on Rocky.. pls reach out.<br/><br/>Rocky would be perfect with an older couple or just a single person who is maybe retired or works from home. Someone that has time to give him all the love and attention he deserves.
