Rocky's Story

Rocky is ready to go! He is a Schnauzer/Terrier (?) mix, around 1 year old, weighs 35 lb., neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. He appears to be house-trained, with no accidents in his foster home with regular trips outside. He does well in a crate overnight and when alone at home. Rocky is great with adults, kids and smaller dogs. He needs slow, supervised introductions to larger dogs, as he has been very fearful around them in the past. It's unknown if he gets along with cats. He does have a strong prey drive, and should not go to a home with chickens, pet rodents, etc. He knows basic commands and is a quick learner but will benefit from leash training and socialization in an obedience class. He's happy, goofy, energetic, gentle and loving. He loves squeaky toys and chew toys, even throwing them up in the air sometimes. Rocky is an excellent snuggler on the couch, but also loves walks and a good boisterous play session. Please consider meeting Rocky - he may be your new best friend! If you would like to meet this dog, please call Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $275.

Adoption fee includes:
- microchip
- spay/neuter
- age appropriate vaccinations: Bordetella, DH(L)PP, rabies
- heartworm preventive and flea/tick preventive
- deworming
