Rockwell is a handsome black-and-tan puppy with an adorable rolly-polly personality and an especially kind spirit.<br/><br/>He is an inquisitive little guy who loves checking out what is happening around him. He enjoys playing with his siblings, exploring and being part of the action, but underneath all that puppy fun is a genuinely sweet nature.<br/><br/>Rockwell and his six siblings were rescued in mid-July after they were found abandoned off Rockwell Road with their mama, Raven. The puppies were estimated to be only 7–8 weeks old at the time and are now around 15 weeks old.<br/><br/>Rockwell appears to be some type of Shepherd/Lab mix, although his exact breed makeup is unknown. His mama, Raven, appears to be a German Shepherd mix and has an adorable scruffy coat, so there may be a few surprises in this family tree!<br/><br/>Rockwell has been raised around other dogs, cats and children and has done well with all of them. He has been getting plenty of positive socialization and is learning all the important things puppies need to know as they prepare for life with their forever families.<br/><br/>He is currently finishing up his veterinary care and is expected to be ready for adoption in mid to late September.<br/><br/>Before going home, Rockwell will be neutered, receive his 4th DHPP, Bordetella and rabies vaccines, be microchipped and cleared for adoption by his veterinarian.
