Rocket's Story

Meet Rocket!

This unique guy is so striking! I would say he is a mix between Bully/American bulldog since he has a docked tail. Rocket is an 8 month old pup who we pulled from an over crowded shelter in Houston TX. Since getting situated into his foster home we have learned that he's potty trained, great with kids, plays wonderfully with other dogs, and overall doesn't make much noise! His coloring is so beautiful, and with his great personality he would make a wonderful addition to any household. Rocket is fully vetted and ready to go! Let's find Rocket his forever home!!

Rocket is currently located in Houston TX but can transport for an additional $300 transport fee.

Local adoption:$300
Out of state adoption with transport: $600

Houston Animals Project's Adoption Policy
Our goal is to place every dog in a safe, loving, and lifelong home. Because of this, all adopters must complete an application and go through an approval process before adoption is finalized. Adoption requirements include: Valid government issued ID required, all current pets must be up-to-date on vaccines and on heart worm prevention, if renting your landlord must approve before we move forward with the adoption process, all household family members must be in agreement on the adoption. We ask for potential adopters to provide a personal and vet reference, a video of their backyard/area where the dog will be living, and do a meet and greet with any dogs that are currently in the home if they are local. We have a strict return policy, if at any point the adopter can no longer keep the dog, the dog must returned to Houston Animals Project and may not be re homed, sold, or surrendered to another person, rescue, or shelter without approval.
