Rocket is a 3-year-old male pit mix available for adoption at CCHS! Rocket did well with children and cats in his previous home. He can be a bit wary when meeting new people, but gets excited when he sees people he knows. He enjoys going outside for walks! Come meet Rocket at CCHS!<br/><br/>Rocket is a VOLUNTEER FAVORITE pet! Here's what dog socializer, Michelle, has to say about him:<br/><br/>"Rocket lives up to his name in every way. Rocket has a lot of energy, and he will tell you all about it (loudly), when you swing by his kennel. But don't let this deceive you, the moment he is outside, he leaves his bark behind and is ready to explore...you just need to be able to keep up with him Rocket is the shy discerning type, as I have gotten to know him, I can see that he finds the big wide world a little unnerving and is glad to have you by his side. Now I feel lucky to get a little wiggle and a lick goodbye when we go back into the shelter. Whilst he may not give his love away freely, I can imagine how happy it would make him to have a friend that will help him build his confidence and get him out for long runs. If this is you, I think this understated sweet boy will be worth it."
