Intelligent, loyal, eventually protective and looking for a firm leader to call his very own. As with all mastiffs, socialization is an absolute requirement to promote the correct temperament. Early socialization is the key to having a well mannered, friendly and social Corso.<br/><br/>Adopters must have current or past Mastiff, Pit Bull, Rottweiler or other power breed experience. Mastiffs are athletic dogs despite their bulk that thrive on regular exercise. Corsos are more tenacious then some of the other Mastiff breeds. <br/>Rocco will need to be physically and emotionally stimulated throughout his life. A yard is a must with this Big Ol' Lug. Please be prepared to put in the work. Mastiffs will never leave your side if permitted, but need structure and boundaries instilled from an early age. Corso puppies can be chewers and appropriate training is a must. Rocco is already mastering his crate training and looking to learn more! We STRONGLY recommend crate training in the beginning! <br/><br/>Rocco is going to be a Big Boy as he's already 20 lbs at 13 weeks. His potential weight is 120-130 lbs full grown. So no Apartments, Condos or Townhouses for this boy. Rocco will make a GREAT companion and have a nice protective instinct which will be a great asset to the right type of owner or family. We are looking for a family or owner that is committed should any behavioral issues arise later on in young adulthood hence why we require prior experience. He is a quite a charming and playful puppy with a immense amount of love to give. Could that be you? <br/><br/>Adoption Fee Applies <br/><br/>As we pre-screen via email, please tell us a little about your lifestyle, work schedule, how many adults, children or pets are in the household, area you live in, house or apartment, breed experience, etc....<br/><br/>We will happily place Rocco in a home with older dog savvy children or like sized dog. This big guy can not go into a home with babies, infants or toddlers. We expect him to be an indoor dog and a family member. He is now on a diet consisting of premium grain-free kibble and has no skin issues or allergies. <br/><br/>Young dogs are a lot of work so please make sure you’re ready for the responsibility, all are on board and that everyone in the household is ready for the long term commitment, training, grooming, brushing and exercise a dog like this requires. <br/><br/>Should things move forward to a meet & greet/home check situation ALL family members, kids and pets currently living at the residence must be present. The meet and greet is to not only make sure he gels with you guys and your dog, but that everyone in the family is on board and equally as enthusiastic. <br/>We do not make exceptions to this rule. <br/><br/>Thank you for choosing to adopt.
