Meet Rizzo!
Rizzo is a 30lb lab mixed dog, almost about 5 months old.
Up to date with shots and already spayed. She is shy at first but
sweet. She will take some time to warm up and can be nervous at times when being picked up. She’ll need lots of chew toys as she’s teething at the moment. She loves to follow other dogs around and always find her cuddled
up with her sister that she was rescued with. She is almost
housebroken and will need work on leash walking. She sleeps in a crate
at night but with time and her potty training, would prefer the couch,
your bed or a dog bed during day time. Rizzo will love a home with a
secure tall fenced in the yard to run around and a dog friend to hang
out with but not necessarily needed, I think she would be loved to be
the only one loved on as well! She is good with dogs, okay with cats
with redirection, good with her foster toddler and a family patient
enough to let her adjust to life without her sister.

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
