River Phoenix's Story

River Phoenix was born 6/10/25. He is an amazing, active boy. He currently lives with a cat and 2 dogs and he gets along great with all of them. He would do best in an active home with no small children because he likes to herd them, and would really enjoy a fenced yard to run around in. Apartment living would not be good for him due to his activity level and loud voice. He is a great listener, is house and crate trained, loves humans and will stick right by your side.

Please visit www.handsheartspaws.org for an adoption application

All of our dogs are current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, fecal tested, heartworm tested, and they are all on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.

The adoption process is an application, a vet reference, a home visit, and a lifetime contract. The requested adoption donation for this dog is $500___.

We do not REQUIRE a fenced in yard (some dogs DO REQUIRE a fence.
