Meet River! River came to CCHS earlier this April from a local farm. This gorgeous Chow mix is about 11 months old and weighs roughly 44ls currently. River is the sweetest lovergirl with the friendliest demeanor! She has a constant wagging tail and will try to steal as many kisses as you'll let her! River would benefit from a furever family that understands her grooming and stimulation needs. While we aren't entirely certain what her exact breed makeup is, we can tell you she is 100% Embodiment of a Ray of Sunshine! With any rescue, training and socialization are incredibly important to the success of the pup. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption. <br/><br/>CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP.
