Risha's Story

Meet Risha | Apply Here

Complete coincidence and no relation, Risha is 7 months old and 20lbs but still growing. Risha was rescued by our partners WeAct just this past May at an illegal dog meat farm in Seongnam. Despite her past, she remains a bubbly and curious puppy!

Risha can be understandably cautious at first, taking a second in new environments to get a feel for things. Once she's comfortable though, she'll be tossing around toys and asking for pets no problem. She's been a riot in foster care as she seemingly can entertain herself but equally enjoys human attention. Her favorite pet spot is the top of her nose and head, but if you're too busy to give her love she'll figure out a way to scratch that itch.

Being a puppy, she's still learning the ropes of her crate training but is doing wonderfully all things considered. She definitely needs a consistent forever family that will keep up with her training so she's the happiest girl long term.

You don't have to wait for an adoption event. In-person meet-and-greets are available in the NYC area, with virtual meet-and-greets available for adopters outside NYC.

Meet Us At Our Next Adoption Event

Where: KCBC - 381 Troutman St, Brooklyn, NY 11237

When: Sat August 22nd

Time: 12pm-3pm

Learn more about our adoption process:

www.koreank9rescue.org/adoption-procedures

www.koreank9rescue.org/adoption-faq

Korean K9 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit saving dogs from the Korean dog meat trade and overcrowded shelters.

Support our mission:

• Donate: www.koreank9rescue.org/donate

• Patreon: www.patreon.com/koreank9rescue
