We know the adorable cow markings caught your eye! RIPLEY’s foster mom affectionately calls him Holstein because of his cute moo-marks. Now let us tell you more about this awesome pup. RIPLEY's birthday is January 3, 2021 and his estimated adult weight is 45-50lbs.

Playful, Confident, Happy! RIPLEY is one of the sweetest pups you will ever meet. He lives in a foster home that includes a foster dad, foster mom and two 6 year old twins and he loves them all. He is well socialized and always happy to greet new faces with a wagging tail and lots of puppy kisses. His foster home also includes 2 dogs and he loves playtime with all his furry friends. He is just awesome with other dogs of all sizes and temperaments.

RIPLEY is working hard on his house-training skills and doing well. His adoptive family should be prepared to take him out on a consistent schedule. RIPLEY is also crate-trained. He stays in the crate to sleep at night and when his foster family is out of the home for errands or for short periods during the day to nap. He settles well when it's time for some downtime and has perfected his snuggle skills.

Up for a road trip? Ripley loves car rides especially if there is an adventure waiting when he gets there!

RIPLEY is working to perfect the commands Sit, Stay and Leave It. We would like his forever family to invest in training, as all puppies benefit from a structure training program. RIPLEY is treat motivated, which helps greatly with training. He takes treats gently from the hand. He is not food aggressive and does not resource guard - he will allow you to take toys and food away from him.

Puppies are immunized on a strict vet recommended schedule, and RIPLEY's forever family will be required, at their own expense, to complete the puppy immunization schedule, including rabies, if placed in your home prior to the schedule being completed. Adopters are provided with current vetting records to provide to their personal vet, and we will confirm that you DO complete that vetting schedule in a timely manner, including the purchase of monthly preventatives (flea & heart worm). RIPLEY will be neutered & microchipped before being placed in his forever home.

PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age-appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives.

The breed included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog.

We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
