Ringo-Rouge is a very handsome 2 1/2 year old Beagle & Hound mix. He was found at a park and had scars from embedded collars. Some good Samaritans found him and Ringo-Rouge joined the rescue. When he first joined the rescue he did not know if he could trust humans. Now he is comfortable with being with people and absolutely loves belly rubs!!! Ringo-Rouge loves to be outside, look out the window, Nylabones and bones filled with peanut butter. He is working on increasing his repertoire of basic commands. Children 12 years old or older. Ringo-Rouge may be ok with some dogs after a very slow introduction is done. He currently is not in any of our play groups at the shelter. Unfortunately, we do not know how he is with cats. Ringo-Rouge's forever home needs to have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard (NO INVISIBLE FENCES OR TIE-OUTS) where he can run, play and hang out with his people. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, on heart worm preventative as well as house and crate trained. Ringo-Rouge cannot wait to find out what being part of a loving family is all about!!

All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. No out of state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Ringo-Rouge's adoption fee is $275.
