Rina's Story
Rina has special skills.
She is a dog that listens without even being spoken to. Amazing right. We love a girl that gets it. She knows sitting equals treats and volunteers equal fun. Rina loves to play. She picks a favorite toy and gives it all her attention. Her other hobbies include sitting pretty on anything elevated, giving kisses while being pet, and drinking water from anywhere (think mop bucket) but the faucet.

Chicago Animal Care and Control is located at 2741 S. Western Ave., Chicago, IL, and is open from 12pm to 7pm daily. Walk-in visitors are welcome and helped on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals in Pavilions A-B-C until 7pm.

All dogs will be spayed/neutered and vaccinated before adoption.

All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers).

We recommend, and can arrange, dog-to-dog meet and greets for your current dog(s) to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination for your dog(s). Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.

If you have any questions, please email caccpetfinder@gmail.com
