Riley's Story

Riley is ready to find her Riley is a 6–7‑year‑old sweetheart who loves everyone — dogs, cats, kids, adults. She’s social, gentle, and happiest when she’s part of the daily rhythm of a home. She’s been living with dogs, has been great with cats, and does well around kids. She’s even OK with chickens as long as she’s not left unsupervised for long stretches.

Riley thrives with daily walks, a predictable routine, and people who are home enough to give her attention. She’s a sensitive girl who does best with consistency. She’s incredibly loving, goofy, and easy to live with — but she’s not a dog who can go two days without a walk or enrichment. When she gets bored or under‑exercised, she can get a little wild, and once she did go after a chicken (the chicken is fine). With structure, she’s a dream.

Riley is sweet, affectionate, people‑oriented, great with dogs, cats, kids, and friendly adults, and she loves being included in whatever her humans are doing. She enjoys walks, yard time, companionship, and the comfort of routine. She would do best with someone who walks their dog daily, likes having a companion nearby, can offer attention and structure, and has a calm, stable home environment.

She’s ready for a family who sees her for the loving, loyal girl she is. To meet Riley, email maytegarciasrescue@mayte.com or text 914‑522‑3501.
