🐾💕 Hi there! My name is Riley! 💕🐾<br/><br/>I'm a 6-month-old, 27-pound black-and-white Border Collie/Jack Russell mix, and I'm a happy-go-lucky little guy with a whole lot of puppy energy packed into one very cute package! 😜 I love to run, play, explore, and go on adventures. I'm working on my ball-fetching skills, although I should probably be honest... I've mastered the chasing part. The whole bringing it back thing? Well, I'm still considering my options. 😂🎾I'm wonderfully gentle with my soft toys and absolutely love curling up with them in my dog bed. And after a long day of important puppy business, you can usually find me passed out with my teddy bear or stretched out in a spectacular little sploot on the cool tile, keeping an eye on everything going on around me. 🧸💤 I do have one very important job, though: I'm the resident hall monitor! 👮‍♂️🐾 My Border Collie herding instincts are strong, and I'm not a big fan of anyone running around the house. If somebody starts zooming indoors, I feel it is my professional responsibility to make sure everyone returns to their assigned places. You're welcome to thank me later. 😉 I get along fantastically with other dogs and can adjust to all sorts of personalities, which makes me a wonderful candidate for playgroups. I'm also good with kitties who are accustomed to dogs and, importantly, don't run away from me. My herding instincts can kick in when something scurries off, so a confident, dog-savvy kitty would be my best match. For a puppy, I'm remarkably well behaved! I'm already fully housetrained AND crate trained, which means I've got a pretty impressive head start on my grown-up-dog education. 🎓 I'm also a fantastic adventure buddy! I may be a little guy who needs a boost into the car, but once I'm aboard, I'm ready to roll. 🚗 I love long walks and would even be happy to accompany you on a nice jog. I walk wonderfully on a leash and am always ready to see where the next adventure takes us. And people? I LOVE them! From kiddos to older folks, I'm gentle, affectionate, and always ready for some playtime or a good snuggle. ❤️ I may have a little bit of a "must keep everyone in line" attitude, but underneath my official hall-monitor duties is a sweet, playful, affectionate puppy who just wants to be part of the family.
