Here's what we've been told about Riley:
Male, 4 years old
Black Lab/Pit Mix

Weight: 60 lbs.
Neutered
Up to date on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella shot
He is microchipped
He is territorial
He has toy/food aggression. You can take them away from him, he may growl (but once the bowl or toy is gone, then he's fine. It is best to tell him what you're doing before you take it away.)
He does better with his sister (Karly) or small dogs but does not do well with bigger dogs.
He used to live with a kitten which was fine, but we are unsure how he would do with an adult cat.
Unsure how he would do around children, as he has not had many experiences with them.
He has A LOT of love to give - and can come off aggressive, but he really just has so much love and excitement, that it can come on too strong. And as he is a big dog, he puts his weight on you. But all of it is really purely because he is happy. He also loves meeting new people and sharing that love - he especially loves to lick people's faces or the closest he can get to it (his sign of affection). He prefers undivided attention/ he really likes to be around you as much as he can, and even on top of you. He enjoys sleeping under blankets. He enjoys cuddles and having his tummy rubbed. He likes chew toys, tennis balls, and playing tag (with Karly).
He is crate-trained, housebroken, and knows a few commands (sit, down, wait/stay, come, drop it)
He would be best suited where he is the only dog in the household or with his sister (Karly) and with people (no one younger than teenagers).
