Riker's Story
Riker is a 12 pound neutered male who is about eight months old. He will need regular brushing to keep his medium coat looking great. I did give his fluffy feet a little trim, but he will not require hair cuts. He is very friendly and affectionate but needs a minute to warm up with new people. In his previous home he spent all his time in a crate. He's thriving in his foster home and building confidence every day. He loves toys and other dogs. He spent his first night in a home with a cat and did fine, but we don't have a cat in his foster home. Small kids still make him nervous, so kids in a new home need to be 12 or older. He is being crate trained and we recommend continuing that to become fully house broken. He's doing very well so far. He walks well on a leash and will be a good walking companion.

If you think you are up for the commitment of training this adorable dog please submit an application for adoption. He is ready to to go to a new home now. Please note, if you don't receive a return call within a few days, assume Joey has found his forever home.
