Rigby's Story

Rigby was dropped off on a country road, left to fend for himself. Its hard to figure out why because he is Mr Personality, the “Life of the Party”! He loves everyone, is great with cats and dogs, is likely mixed with basset hound per his stout build, fat spotted white paw, and fun disposition. He is not the daschund protector — he is instead a big greeter! He loves to climb in the washing machine as well as kitchen cabinets undergoing renovation. He will bolt out the door and run so fenced yard is required. He is heartworm positive and currently on his first month of antibiotics— treatment takes 4 months and adopter will need to continue following his treatment schedule.
He hates crates… loves to snuggle, very good on walks, rides great in the car and is super social! He is 25#, estimated at 3 years old.
Contact irondawgs13@gmail.com for adoption application - he would enjoy a home with a social, active owner who takes him out on a daily walk and for fun outtings…he is too active to be a full time couch companion.
