Look at this guy! Can’t you feel his joy and great energy just by looking at him!? And that tongue! Please say HI to Riff Raff. Riff came to us with his name, but he is just the opposite of its meaning. This very handsome, happy bundle of joy is 2 years old. We don’t know much about his upbringing, but we can tell you he is a wonderful, loving, spunky boy who loves to play! Dog, human, or even by himself (yep, he’ll toss a ball, chase it, and toss it again all by himself!) Riff says let’s play! He is in daycare and loves to romp, play, and get the Zoomies with his friends. When he’s tired, he wants love and attention from his people before he goes to nap in some pretty funny positions. He loves the outdoors, snow, and exploring. He is crate trained, and because he came to us with a horrible case of whipworm and had to be quarantined for a while, he is very comfortable spending time alone but gets happy when he sees he will be let out for love and play. He has met older kids and seems to enjoy their company. We have no idea how he would react to cats or small animals. He would do best in a yard with a 6-foot fence, but he could tolerate a long tie out. According to Riff’s foster Dad…. the perfect home for Riff is anyone who wants an adventurous, loving, active best friend. He would do well in a home with other dogs but would be great on his own if he had someone to run around and play with; this wonderful pup wants to explore, give, and receive tons of love and play. We are certain Riff is just the dog that can lift your spirits, make you laugh, and fill your heart with joy!

Approved applications are based on best fit and not first submitted. Hairy Houdini Siberian Husky Rescue reserves the right to refuse any applicant, it is within our discretion to make these decisions on behalf of our dogs.

We do require a home visit and a veterinarian reference. Please contact your veterinarian to give them permission to release information to us. Once we have reviewed your application and received a favorable reference from your veterinarian, our adoption coordinator will contact you. Please be patient as this process could take several days.
