Rico's Story

Rico is very sweet with people but will require a lot of training. He is reactive towards other dogs and would do best as the only animal within the home. Older children would be preferred but with the right training he could potentially live with younger children as well.You'll be able to see this animal - and more - at the shelter! Culpeper County Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

An adoption application must be completed and approved prior to adopting. If renting or living with family, we do have to confirm you are allowed to bring home a pet. We also do a vet reference to ensure our pets will be well cared for. If you are adopting a dog and another dog lives in the home, we will set up a time to do a meet once your application has been approved. Adoption fees are to be paid at the time of pick up.
