Our Mission
The Culpeper County Animal Shelter is a county owned and operated animal shelter. We shelter the homeless, the abused, and the neglected animals, adopt animals to loving homes, and provides community services.
Adoption Policy
An adoption application must be completed and approved prior to adopting. If renting or living with family, we do have to confirm you are allowed to bring home a pet. We also do a vet reference to ensure our pets will be well cared for. If you are adopting a dog and another dog lives in the home, we will set up a time to do a meet once your application has been approved. Adoption fees are to be paid at the time of pick up.
