Ricky Bobby's Story

Ricky Bobby is a sensitive sweetheart who truly shines once he feels safe with his people. New environments, loud noises, and quick movements can make him nervous, and he may try to create distance when he's unsure - so he's looking for a patient, dog-savvy home that understands how to move at his pace. With gentle guidance, slow exposure, and time, Ricky Bobby's confidence continues to grow.

Once you're in his circle, his playful and silly personality comes to life. He's a speedy little zoomer who loves to skid around corners like the fastest racecar, toss his toys in the air, and entertain himself with squeaky toys and soft balls. He's also got the cutest tippy taps and an affectionate side - he enjoys curling up in laps and soaking in some good cuddles.

Ricky Bobby may need multiple meet-and-greets to feel comfortable, and hell benefit from ongoing socialization in a calm, supportive environment. He can be more hesitant around men and big gestures, so adopters who are attentive to his body language and willing to advocate for his comfort will help him thrive. He has good potential with other dogs given proper introductions, and due to his sensitivity, he's best suited for a home with kids 16+.

If you're someone who understands that trust takes time and wants to build a meaningful bond, Ricky Bobby will reward you with loyalty, love, and plenty of playful moments.
