4 year old Ricky is a complete goofball who absolutely adores cuddle time with his favourite people and endless hours of fetch. Ricky is beyond affectionate and demands physical touch at all times. He's the best boy at giving hugs and enjoys being the little spoon when snuggling under a blanket. This boxer lab mix is full of energy and spunk, so he would thrive in a household that can keep him busy with playtime and exercise.

For some people, Ricky instantly jumps for joy with introducing himself and he has been absolutely wonderful with all of our staff. However, he is not friendly with everyone right off the bat and does need slow introductions so that trust can be built. We are hoping to find a home that can help him build confidence around meeting new people and help him build better social skills. He will not be able to go into a home with children, however he may enjoy having another canine companion! Ricky can be selective sometimes with his dogs friends, but we think he may do well with another super friendly, social dog that could lead by example.
