Richard is just the sweetest little Plott hound mix puppy. He's gentle, smart, curious & happiest when he's close to his people. He does well with other dogs (slow intros are always best!) & is great with the resident cat. He hasn't had much exposure to kids yet but would likely do best with dog savvy kiddos who understand boundaries. Richard is picking things up fast, sits like a pro & will offer his paw any chance he gets! Crate training is improving every day & he's sleeping through the night more consistently. He prefers his crate in the bedroom so he can see & smell you. Potty training is coming along with just a few puppy accidents here & there. He walks nicely on a leash, is easy to redirect & loves rotating through his toys without destroying them. Big fan of socks & will "hide" his chews in very obvious places (next to the tv stand is not that sneaky, buddy!). He's super cuddly, happy to lounge on the couch & active without being overwhelming.<br/>Richard, while a little nervous on the car rides there, does really well in dog friendly spaces & will just sit right by your side. He would likely be a great little companion for beer gardens or restaurant patios.<br/>He's a little guy with a lot of love to give!
