Rhea's Story
Hello Big Dog Folk - Meet Rhea!

Found running stray by a Good Samaritan, Rhea was taken to Peninsula Humane Society where she was going to be euthanized essentially because of her size. If that sounds just plain wrong to you, read on...

Rhea is endless fun to be around. One of the first things we noticed about her is that someone must have kissed her on the head a lot, probably as a tiny puppy...that is the thing that gives her the most comfort, and happily that is a thing that here at PACC we can most definitely provide.

First, Rhea's stats:
~1.5 yr old, spayed female
-,XL Blue-Nose bully blend,
~95 lbs would be our guess
-Fully vaxed
-Microchipped and healthy

Insider intel:
-Low to moderate energy - loves her sniff walks - not built for long distance
-Stunningly pretty and goofy as-as-all-get-out
-Bursts of energy, but chill overall
-Fancies herself a ball dog until ball #6...then not so much
-Friendly with humans and dogs (takes a tad longer to warm up to men translating to roughly 3 cookies / 60 seconds)
-Affection-hog, Lap-dog
-Strong on leash, but generally well mannered - albeit a lil stubborn
-Has not met a toy she doesn't like
-All indications are fully house-trained
-Low on the barking scale, high on the affectionate scale

If you are a big-dog loving individual or family that is moderately active, strong and confident enough to handle Rhea's size, and are looking to brighten up your home - Rhea would happily oblige. Dogs ok, we'll make sure it's a good fit. Kids in the home ideally are 10+ since dogs take time, little humans take time and few families have time for both.

We don't know about cats, thus to be respectful of everyone's time we do not recommend our feline-friends.

If your situation sounds like a good fit with Rhea's, COPY AND PASTE THE LINK BELOW INTO YOUR BROWSER (Petfinder does not support live links)

https://forms.gle/MC4Uf6QEKVBRB2oR8

Thank you for your commitment to rescue at a time when it is needed most!
