He's not a fan of spending time alone in his kennel or room, he'd much rather be by your side, soaking up attention and pets. He's also house-trained and will let you know when it's time to go out... just don't make him wait too long, or you might hear his impressive vocal range the care team jokingly calls it "Mariah Carey high notes".<br/><br/>Rex has a sensitive side and isn't too keen on loud noises like thunderstorms, engine sounds, or power tools. When something startles him, he may react by moving toward it, so he'll do best in a calm, predictable environment.<br/><br/>While he can be a little particular, like hesitating to go into his room, some gentle reassurance and praise usually do the trick. He's highly treat-motivated and currently enjoys his lickimats and Beggin' Strips.<br/><br/>Sweet, quirky, and full of personality, Rex also has one of the best smiles around.
