Revyn's Story

Revyn
DOB 9/18/21
Female Doberman
61 lbs

Revyn is 5-years old and was a well-loved, well-maintained family pet. However, she was not adapting well to the baby in the home. It was a sad surrender and was not taken lightly. No need for negative comments or opinions. The family did leave details notes and their contact information for the new adopter.

Here are some of the condensed notes from Revyns people:
-does good with baths and ear cleaning
-not a fan of nail trims
-will dig and bark, but does not chew
-housebroken
-cuddly, eager to please
-good with adults and older children, but NOT young children
-does not like all dogs (*As always, a meet and greet would be expected if you planned on adding Revyn to your pack.)

When you come visit Revyn, ask to view the surrender form. The family did their best to set her up for success in her new home. She will do great with the right placement. Volunteers have enjoyed her during her short stay.

The ARK
477 State Route 26
Lacon, IL
309-246-4275
https://thearkanimalshelter.org

Adoption Hours
Mon-Wed, Fri 12-2
Sat 11-3
Thurs 5-8 p.m.

Cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines before they leave The ARK.

Adoption Application
https://thearkanimalshelter.org/adopt/adoption-application/
*or fill out a hard copy during adoption hours

*Must be 21-years-old to adopt.

The ARK does vet checks.
