Meet Retta <br/><br/>Making the decision to find a new home for her has been one of the hardest choices we've ever had to make. She is deeply loved, and this decision is being made solely because we want what's best for her.<br/><br/>At 2 years old, this German Shorthaired Pointer/Bloodhound mix has so much love to give. She is sweet, incredibly loyal, and full of playful energy. Once she trusts you, she'll happily be by your side, ready for adventures, snuggles, or simply keeping you company. She can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but with a little patience and kindness, her loving personality shines through.<br/><br/>She does wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys having canine companions. She's also crate trained and knows her basic commands, making her an easy addition to a home that's willing to continue helping her grow.<br/><br/>Because she'll do best in a calm environment, we're looking for a home without young children where she can feel secure and thrive.<br/><br/>Our greatest hope is to find someone who will love her as much as we do and give her the life she deserves. She has so much potential and so much love left to give to the right family.
