Millie is a 5 year old female Bichon Frise tipping the scales at 16 lbs.<br/><br/>She will be spayed prior to adoption and is currently in a foster home.<br/><br/>Volunteers For Animals periodically pulls dogs from other shelters to free up space; this helps avoid euthanizing healthy, adoptable animals. We are able to do this through the generosity of many people such as the originating shelter staff, transporters, foster volunteers and others who help with pulling fees, vet bills and finding good homes once they are here.<br/><br/>The adoption process includes an application that is completed by the potential owner. If there are multiple applications on the same animal, the animal will go to the best home for that particular animal - not necessarily the first application.
