Renaldo (World Cup Puppy)

*The World Cup puppies were born June 14th, 2026, this is Renaldo! He is in foster in Puerto Rico until his appropriate puppy vetting is complete and it's safe for him to travel. This is expected to be on Aug. 11 (when he is just a smidge over 8 weeks old) and he will either go to the NJ area or to the Pacific Northwest (Seattle or Portland); it depends on who applies! Apply today, as only approved homes get meet and greets!*<br/><br/>Renaldo is so spunky! He is 7 weeks old now, and looks a lot like his terrier mix parents with his cute little whiskers and longer hair. His Mama Blondie and his Daddy Johnnie are both small poodle/terrier mixes (they both have long terrier hair, whiskers, and are blonde, weighing in at 15-20 lbs). Renaldo is expected to be very similar to his parents' sizes, and although we can never say exactly, we do know he will stay small (our guess is that he'll be under 20 lbs when full grown).<br/><br/>We have had the World Cup babies and their Mama since they were 2 days old. So, we know them really well! They are all well-handled and LOVE human touch and interaction. Mama was able to nurse until just shy of 6 weeks old, so these babies got all the great health and antibodies from her. :) They are currently eating puppy starter mixed with dry puppy starter kibble, drinking water, are pooping machines, and playing their little hearts out until they crash and do it all over again... pure puppy bliss.<br/><br/>Renaldo is quiet and wants to come for a snuggle when his team arrives. He is such a sweet boy, and like the rest of the litter, really enjoys human touch and cuddling. He is medium energy with the pack, and jumps into the puppy fray but also uses their distraction as a ploy for all the human attention!
