Ren's Story

Hi, I’m Ren—a 12-week-old German Shorthaired Pointer mix weighing just 10 pounds, and I’ve got a big personality packed into a tiny body. I came from a high-kill shelter in Alabama, but you’d never guess it now. I’m playful, curious, and always on the move—whether I’m chasing toys, exploring every corner, or following my people around like a little shadow.

I’m still very much a baby, but I’m already doing really well with my puppy basics. I’m almost housebroken and learning quickly with a good routine, and I’m getting the hang of crate time and what’s okay to chew. I’ll still need a family who’s ready to stay consistent and keep guiding me as I grow. With my breed mix, I’m likely to be a smart, active dog who thrives on structure, engagement, and being part of your everyday life.

I’ll come neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives. I’m being fostered in Albion, Michigan, and I’m looking for a home that’s ready for the fun, work, and reward of raising a puppy. I may be small now, but I’m going to grow into a loyal, energetic companion who’s worth every bit of the effort.

Please apply to adopt me here:
https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/63adcb00cb896f59b74103d2/69a33bc58765d938860c9641

———

If interested, please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder.
