Remy's Story
Hi! My name is Remy! They say when one sense is missing, the others grow stronger. While I may be deaf, my "seventh sense" is love, and it's stronger than ever. I enjoying playing in water to keep me cool, playing with my toys, and running in my yard. I think it would be awesome if I could go to a home that has another dog so we can become best friends. I am very smart and highly treat motivated. I have even started hand signal training. Give me a chance and I promise I will be your best friend.

Some notes on Remy from his foster parents...

Remy is absolutely sweet, goofy and playful. He loves all of the dog toys and quickly discovered the toy basket. He loves playing with his foster sister in the yard. He loves to be petted and get his belly rubbed.
He sleeps in his crate at night and usually sleeps through the night. We also crate him when we are away. (I feed him in his crate to keep him separated from the rest of my pack.). He is very food motivated. He's eating all of his food at mealtimes and cheese is a favorite snack.
He is house trained. If he barks, that usually means he needs to go out. He likes to have a private place to potty. (Since he is deaf, he can't hear someone come up on him, so that is probably an important instinct.) It would be nice if he had a place with some tall plants or grasses in the yard.
He would love a fenced in yard. He does OK on the leash. He doesn't really like the heat that much, so we haven't been walking him for very long. He does like to play in the baby pool to cool off.
