Meet REMINGTON
At approx. 60 lbs. and with all of the characteristics of a gentle giant in his breed mix, our REMINGTON will make a terrific companion for lovers of the Boxer / Great Dane breeds or just larger dog lovers! Arriving in our shelter as a stray, he loves to play and explore, and his curious nature will keep you entertained for hours.
REMINGTON is approx. 1 year in age, and still has a big puppy temperment which means he can sometimes become a bit overly excited. However, with proper training and guidance with a family knowledgeable of caring for the bigger dog breeds, REMINGTON is sure to blossom into a well-behaved and well-adjusted companion. Basic obedience classes would greatly benefit our big loveable boy so he can become a well-mannered member of his loving family. He would do well with a dog companion that is similar in size and play style to have as a buddy in his new home. He still needs work on his leashed walks, and adores being outside or anywhere you are..... He's so smart and eager to please that we have no doubt he'll be up to speed in no time!
His playful high energy is a perfect fit for a family with an active, outdoor activity loving lifestyle, although we feel sure cozy evenings on the couch will also suit our boy just fine. REMINGTON thrives on human interaction, and can't get enough of our attention - especially if belly rubs and ear scratches are included!
