Remi is spayed, vaccinated including rabies, and has recently had a dental cleaning. She tested heartworm negative and is on monthly preventive. Remi is ready for adoption.<br/><br/>Remi was owner surrendered because she was being picked on by a larger dog in her home. Remi is a poster dachshund...brave, loyal, intelligent, and hard-headed. Remi loves you when she feels like it and bosses you around the rest of the time. She is kennel and potty trained, walks on a leash, and gets along with anyone human or canine. Remi likes to bark at the cat and probably would do better with no cats. Remi is nosy, food-driven, and likes a good blanket. She would blend in anywhere she is safe and appreciated.<br/><br/>Adoption fee is $200. Jeff Tarpley Rescue welcomes applications from homeowners, renters, and condo or apartment dwellers. At a minimum, a phone interview will be conducted and a vet reference checked before the applicant may meet their preferred pet.<br/><br/>We adopt primarily in the 4 states of the ArkLaTexOma. Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.
