Remi Hound & Shepherd Mix New Orleans, LA

Remi is the most loving pup! She is a hound/shepherd mix born 5/2023. She's about 35# and will be likely be medium sized when full grown. Remi is scheduled to be spayed soon. She is absolutely wonderful with children and other pets. She does great in her kennel and with house training. We haven’t had any accidents since her first week with us! She loves to play fetch and tug of war with her rope. She is still in the puppy stage so she definitely needs a chew bone to keep her busy and out of trouble ?! She is full of life and energy! We will hate to see this baby go but we can’t wait to help her find her forever family! Not sure how she would do on a leash, as we have a fenced in back yard and haven’t needed a leash! sweetheart is ready for a forever home!

Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for puppies covers initial deworming, puppy vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter at the rescue's approved vet at 6 months of age. Please see our website for more information.

2022 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals:
Puppies under 12 months - $350
Dogs over 12 months - $250

*Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our puppies live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
