REMI's Story

Meet Remi, a 2-year-old Shih Tzu mix with a big personality packed into a little body. This sweet boy is deeply devoted to his person and prefers to stay close—he’s happiest when he knows his human is right there by his side. Remi loves car rides and settles in like a pro, making him the perfect co-pilot for errands, road trips, or just a quick drive to grab a pup cup.

He’s crate trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside, which is a huge plus. While he may be a little wary when meeting new people, give him about a day and you’ll start to see his true colors—tail wags, puppy kisses, and lots of snuggles. Once you’re in his circle, you’re in for life.

Remi does okay on a leash but still needs a bit of practice—honestly, he’d much rather be carried like the little prince he believes he is (and he’s not entirely wrong). He has a healthy appetite and is very treat-motivated, which will make continued training much easier.

He’ll need slow, thoughtful introductions to other dogs, as he likes to take his time deciding who makes the cut. True to his Shih Tzu roots, Remi is loving, a little opinionated, and yes… he might hold a grudge or two—but it just adds to his charm. He’s that quirky, lovable family member you can’t help but adore.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will stick by your side through thick and thin (and probably insist on being your shadow), Remi might just be your perfect match.

Adoption fee includes neuter (scheduled), microchip, vaccinations.
