Regina's Story
Regina, also known as Tater, is a year and a half old husky mix who weighs around 50 lbs. She is a head turner, with her blue eyes and white coat, and is just as sweet as she is pretty. While it’s hard to see in photos, she has cream highlights over her body and face that just add to her cuteness.

Huskies are known for being smart, and Regina is no exception. She has a great foundation for obedience, and already knows sit and down, is good in her crate, and at going potty outside. Being young, she still needs to work on not getting too excited, but listens quickly when corrected. In true Husky fashion, Regina can also be stubborn at times. Especially when she doesn’t want to come back inside on nice days! She absolutely loves being outside, whether playing, or hanging out in a shady spot. Regina is great in the car, and lays in the backseat patiently, and decent on leash.

This pretty girl loves meeting new people, and is incredibly sweet. She loves being loved on, and getting scratches. Regina has a very silly, puppy-like personality, that always keeps her foster laughing. She enjoys flipping around toys, gnawing on chew bones, and belly rubs. Outside, she has started to fetch toys, and almost always bring them back! She gets adorable zoomies, and thrives on routine and consistency. At times, she will be a little dramatic (typical Husky!) and talk back when she feels the need, or howl along when sirens go off. She is a cuddly girl, who loves being on, or right next to you for pets. It doesn’t take long for her to settle in on the couch or in the dog bed with a bone, happily entertaining herself.

Regina lacks a bit of confidence, and often looks to her handler in new situations. She is very trusting, and settles in quickly. In her foster home she is working on gaining self confidence, and with how smart she is, it doesn’t take much. Regina is good with other dogs, however, needs proper, slow introductions. Her best dog friend and her will chase each other around the yard before laying together with a shared stick or toy, just to do it all over again! She is great with kids, and all the people she has met. She will need a home without cats, or chickens.

Regina is a very sweet, good girl, who loves her people strongly. She is loyal, smart, and will be someone’s very best friend in no time. She is fixed, microchipped, heartworm tested, and current on vaccines. Ready to find her forever 🤍

Adoption App:

https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/40532/generic
