Reena Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Mix Bedminster, NJ

Hi my name is Reena. I am a 14 week old cattle dog mix. My foster mom says that I could be mixed with hound because of my big voice and big feet. She also thinks I might be a bit on the big size when I'm full grown.

I like others dogs and have enjoyed playing with my sisters and the dogs at my foster home. I probably won't be good with kids under 10 because I like to bite butts. Yeah it doesn't make my foster mom happy but she makes a funny noise when it happens.

I do like to get pet but I still try to grab the hand as it's moving. I have gotten ALOT better since being here and am getting better at controlling myself everyday.

I have learned that sitting makes cookies, water and getting out of my crate happen. I like my crate and enjoy sleeping in there overnight.

I am learning that jumping is not a good thing but sometimes I can't help myself...especially if someone else is trying to get a cookie or a pet.

I like to run around and play with my sisters alot but I like naps too. My foster mom says I am medium to high energy. Whatever that means.

I am so excited to look for my new home and hope you will consider me.

***Reena is NOT fully housetrained yet but is in the process of being housetrained. Please know this will be something you will need to work on but she is making great progress!

Reena will be better with kids 10 or older as she is a bit of a spitfire and when she gets over excited can jump up and nip.

She is a sweet, smart girl who will be a fun partner to have around. She is looking for the perfect home to bring out the best in her.
