Redmond's Story
Meet Redmond!

He’s a 1-year-old Doberman who checks all the boxes, loyal, affectionate, a little goofy, and very much a “where you go, I go” kind of dog. If you’re familiar with velcro Dobermans, that’s him. He bonds quickly and loves being close to his people.

Redmond is housebroken and crate trained, and at night he’s actually pretty low key. He’s happy to wind down and head to bed without much fuss. During the day though, he’s still very much a young dog. He gets the zoomies, loves to play, and will absolutely try to hug you. When he’s bored or extra excited, he can get a little mouthy, so he will need someone who can continue working on that in a typical young Doberman way.

He’s great with kids and loves anything fun, toys, bones, fetch, all of it. He’s not possessive with food or toys and doesn’t rush through meals. He also tolerates baths and nail trims really well and rides nicely in the car.

He’s a smart dog and already knows sit, stay, shake, and come. On leash, he does well overall and isn’t reactive, but he can pull when he gets excited, so he will benefit from a little continued training there.

At home, he will alert you if someone’s around like a typical Doberman. Out in the world, he’s friendly and happy to meet people. In the house, he may take a minute to warm up to someone new, but once he does, expect kisses.

Redmond is a really nice mix of sweet, playful, and loyal. He’s the kind of dog who will follow you from room to room, keep you entertained, and just want to be part of whatever you’re doing.

If you’re looking for a young Doberman who has a great foundation and a lot of love to give, he’s your guy.

Apply to adopt Redmond here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/DPR/Dog

Kennel License #14649
