Redd Foxx is a very handsome Lab mix around a year old and weighing about 50 lbs. He had a very rough start to life as he was rescued from a horrid hoarding and breeding situation. Redd was terribly shy at first and it was heartbreakingly obvious he had never received any kind of socialization or affection. Being the brave boy he is he began to warm up and love the idea of having human companionship within the first 24 hrs he was in his foster home. He has come a very long way and overcome the atrocities of his past life. He is now potty trained and will go to the door when he needs to go out. He is not a fan of being crated but he will do so when asked. He is working on his leash training and gets better with each walk. For a boy who grew up with no guidance or training he is doing such a remarkable job catching up. Redd is not an all work no play kind of boy. He does enjoy playing and being goofy. He gets along well with other dogs and will happily play around with them after initial introductions. He hasn't had a lot of interactions with cats but he seemed mildly curious with the ones he met. This precious boy is also very sweet and affectionate now that he knows it means snuggles on the couch. Getting love is another thing he has really enjoyed catching up on. Redd is already neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. He's a wonderful boy who has learned to love and trust the new people in his life. Now he is ready to take the next and final step of finding his happily forever after with wonderful loving family to call his own. Red is now prepared...for love finally grows.
