Red's Story
Two-year-old Red is a playful 17-pound Shih Tzu who loves belly rubs, toys, and walks! He's a friendly boy who enjoys attention.

Red is house-trained and crate-trained. He rides well in the car and knows several commands, including come, sit, off, and wait. He can be nervous at times, and his enthusiasm on walks means he could use some practice with polite leash manners.

Red gets along with cats and other dogs. He's friendly with children, but his play can be rough, so he'll need supervision and guidance. He also enjoys digging and will chase livestock, making a securely fenced yard and supervised outdoor time important.

Red is neutered, microchipped and fully vaccinated. He will need regular grooming throughout his life to keep his coat healthy and comfortable. With patient guidance, playtime, and plenty of belly rubs, he's ready to become a cherished companion!

If you're interested in Red, make an appointment to visit him or submit a BAM Adoption Application, and if approved, we'll contact you as soon as possible to arrange a meeting.
