Red's Story
❤️ Red’s Story

Red is a gorgeous young pup rescued from a high-kill shelter in Southern California, and he’s ready for his forever home. He’s about 2 years old, weighs around 65 lbs, and is incredibly smart—he learns quickly and loves to please. Red is affectionate and forms strong bonds with his people, especially once he feels safe and secure.
When meeting new people, Red can be a little shy at first, but give him a bit of patience and he truly shines. Once he warms up, he becomes a loyal, loving companion who enjoys being close to his human.
Red loves to play, especially chasing his ball, and would thrive in an active home with space to run and exercise. He has had some training, knows his commands well, and is both crate and house trained. He needs some work on his leash skills. He does best when he has a "job" to do. Red is dog-friendly and non-reactive to cats, making him a great fit for many households. He would be best in a home with adults as he is a strong exuberant boy.
Red’s foster is committed to helping make his transition as smooth as possible and will gladly work with his adopter. This sweet boy is ready to start his next chapter—could it be with you? 🐾
If interested in Red please contact Bonnie at 626-483-6936 or email hope4sweethomes@gmail.com

Red is also available for fostering in Southern California.
