Reba's Story

Reba was left abandoned at a dog park, chained up to a pole.

She's potty-trained and loves toys! Her bloodwork came back great and her teeth look good. We had her spayed.

Note from her foster:
After 72 hour decompression before meeting my 2 dogs, they are all co-existing harmoniously - no guarding, squabbles, just hanging out. She's still very interested in Gatito, but listening better to commands to prevent her from engaging the cat.
Potty Trained AND Crate Trained - DOUBLE WIN! While *most* of the time she relaxes / sleeps in her bedroom with crate open, she isn't always sure what she's allowed to chew vs not.
Reba is a velcro dog & will follow you around the house & yard. She's FINALLY warmed up to Brian - replaced growling with cuddling! Learning that men don't have to be scary
She LOVES car rides, napping on the porch, finding treats / kibble in stuffy carcasses, & Yak Bones.
While she continues to settle in, FOR NOW we'd like to see her placed in a home with teens or no kids. This is SIMPLY to be proactive with preventing any accidental negative reactions since it can be harder for younger kids to understand boundaries. We will continue to monitor her temperament as she settles in.
Estimated to be 6 years old. Cleared bill of health, spayed.
