Reacher's Story

Reacher is a sweet, sensitive boy who's really coming out of his shell. He's getting great on the leash, becoming more playful, and loves being close to his person. He's still working on potty training and cannot be crated, but he knows sit, lay down, and stay, and he minds well. Reacher has good days and nervous days, but with patience he continues to improve.

He's wonderful with other dogs and does well with cats-he'll chase them for fun, then cover them in kisses. He sleeps in the bed or on a raised dog bed, loves safe veggies, and thinks belly rubs are the best thing in the world. He does get carsick and is scared of baths, but outdoor baths may be easier for him as the weather warms up.

Reacher is a loving, loyal companion who just needs a patient home willing to help him continue building confidence. He's not quite adoptionready yet, but he has so much love to give and is thriving in foster care while he learns.
