Meet Raya!<br/><br/>Are you looking for a best girl, your ride or die, or someone to brighten your spirits everyday ….<br/>Look no further than Raya!!<br/><br/>Raya is a 10-11 month old, female, spayed, 40lbs possible cattle dog and/or chocolate lab mixed with a whole lot of love. <br/><br/>Raya has the sweetest, temperament and gentle disposition. She will greet everyone she meets, whether it’s a small child, a group of people, or any dog and actively seeks them out but is also willing to wait for them to come by her. She loves to show them affection and will calmly rollover to show off her belly, climb in your lap for a snuggle, give sweet kisses, or indulge in tail wagging and wrestle. Raya lives in an active foster household with more than 5 dogs and enjoys everyone. Raya would be happy to have both furry and human friends to play with every day! <br/><br/>Raya is every bit sweet as she is smart! Raya knows how to “sit, down, gently take treats, no, off, wait” and head to her crate and is fully potty trained. She has the personality of a therapy dog being both kind and loving of everyone. She is a quick study and will learn a new trick for any treat you might have and even pose for photos or take a nice long walk with her foster. <br/><br/>Raya’s favorite things are TOYS! any toy and all toys! She adores rolling around with a stuffy in her mouth, playing a game of fetch and is an expert at tug of war with her dog friends. Raya also loves to run around in the yard with her other dog friends, especially Waffles who is her fellow foster in her home. And if you like water, splashing in a pool or swimming laps, Raya will be right there by your side! Raya is a well rounded and adjusted pup who will only continue to blossom in her forever home!<br/><br/>Raya is the most beautiful chocolate brown with the prettiest golden eyes, she is hoping to loving look into her families eyes very soon! This sweet girl has been waiting since May and deserves a family of her own. She would love humans of all ages, another dog friend and in return promises to make each day better for her family! <br/><br/>Our standard adoption fee is $375 if paid by cash or check, or $385 if paid by credit card (which includes a $10 processing fee). This fee covers spay/neuter surgery when age appropriate at one of our participating veterinarians, age-appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative, and microchipping. <br/><br/>In order to be considered for adoption, we require a fully completed application, a phone interview, and a meet-and-greet with your entire family. Please note that submitting an application does not commit you to adopting and does not guarantee approval—it simply allows us to begin the review process. <br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting or would like additional information, please email us at adopt@safehavendogsIL.org to request an application. <br/><br/>Keep in mind that the breed and size listed in each dog's biography are our best educated guesses and are not guaranteed. <br/><br/>Safe Haven Dog Rescue reserves the right to refuse the adoption of any dog or puppy to any applicant for any reason.
