Rascal (Bonded With Princess)'s Story
These two 12-14 year old Rat Terrier siblings arrived this evening with two other housemates due to an unfortunate medical situation of their previous owner. These two don’t know why they are here or understand what happened, but what we know is that they are deserving of a home.
These two absolutely adore each other and must stay together. After all they’ve been through and having been together all their life, they simply cannot stand to be apart.

Both Princess and Rascal have lived with other smaller dogs, although Princess can sometimes be exactly that and doesn’t always see eye-to-eye. We have no idea if they’ve ever experienced cats and would likely be best with older, gentler children. They know some basic commands and are very attentive. Rascal is initially a lot shyer than his sister but warms up with time.

Both Rascal and Princess will need full dentals (although most little dogs do need this, they are quite overdue for it) and have not seen a veterinarian in some time (we do not have a veterinarian on staff here at the shelter). They are both spayed/neutered so there are no geographical restrictions on adoption. Their adoption fees are $45 and adoption is first-come, first-served although we want any potential adopter to be aware of their needs as both seniors and length between vet visits.
