Rascal* A213485

VIP: Rascal is a cutie! He is very playful and is about 16 months of age. He went on a group dog walk to a local park along with other dogs from the shelter and
knocked it out of the Park! He got along with the other dogs and parkgoers, including bikes. Rascal is a smart, sweet fella who is an all-around good boy. He will be best in a home with an experienced dog owner and just loves treats!!!! He loves to work out on the treadmill as you can see in his video! He will even push open the door to the room that contains the treadmill because he is raring to go on it! Rascal went on another group dog walk and once again was a great park companion! He was very excited in the lobby but sat for treats before getting harnessed. Rascal gets into the car seamlessly and is a calm passenger. He walked with three other dogs and pulled a little bit on the leash but took redirection well. The park was very busy with walkers, cyclists, trucks and even a loud work truck. Rascal is very treat motivated! He's a good boy and will sit on command, with or without a treat! He was well behaved during the break at the park despite other dogs and families on the playground. He did express some interest in squirrels but redirected well! On the ride back, he was calm and gave kisses when a volunteer reached back to pet him. He's a smart handsome dog who will do well with a confident owner motivated to have a wonderful friend!

Adopted animals are not able to go to their new home until spay and neuter surgery has been done.
Adoptions are first come first serve, and no appointment or application is needed.
