Ranger

Meet Ranger!

Ranger is a fun, energetic young guy (born around November 2025) with a huge heart and an endless love for play! Originally found wandering as a stray, a Good Samaritan kindly took him in and scanned him for a microchip. When no owner or chip could be found, they reached out to Clancy's Dream to help ensure he found the perfect home. Now, he’s ready for his next chapter with an active family who loves a loyal, fun-loving companion!

**Personality & Traits:**

#People Person:** Ranger loves human connection! He’s an affectionate boy who wants to stay right by your side and be involved in whatever you're up to.
#Play & Athleticism:** He’s got plenty of enthusiasm, great drive, and absolutely loves toys—especially fetch with balls! With his high energy and focus, he has incredible potential for dog sports like agility, flyball, or disc.
#Smart & Trainable: He already has a fantastic recall! Being so treat-motivated gives him great potential for learning quickly with consistent, positive training.

**Home Requirements & Considerations:**

#Food Motivation: Likely due to his days as a stray, Ranger is *extremely* food-motivated. While he shows no resource guarding or aggression, he is an opportunistic counter-surfer and will snatch unattended food in the blink of an eye!
#Children: Because of his quick-grab instincts with food, Ranger requires a home with older children or adults only to ensure everyone's snacks stay safe.
#Mealtime Routine: For now, feeding Ranger in his crate helps him feel secure and prevents any opportunistic food snatching while he continues his manners training.

**Health & Essentials:**

. Neutered
. Up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations
. Microchipped

Ranger is a bright, affectionate pup with so much potential and love to give. If you're ready for fun games of fetch and an eager training partner, Ranger is ready to meet you!

If you're interested in welcoming Ranger to your home, please complete an Adoption Application at www.clancysdream.org. Once submitted, we will contact you by email if you are selected to move forward in the adoption process.
