He arrived in really rough shape and had to be shaved because his coat was severely matted. Now he’s on the mend, and his beautiful reddish-brown fur is growing back!<br/><br/>Raisin is blind, but don’t let that fool you—he learns his way around the house surprisingly quickly. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has the sweetest, quietest, gentlest spirit.<br/><br/>He would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a calm little buddy. Raisin would love nothing more than to curl up with you in the recliner, but he’s also perfectly content to be left alone during the day.<br/><br/>This little guy has been through a lot and deserves a loving home where he can spend his golden years feeling safe, comfortable, and cherished. ❤️🐶

Knox Vintage Pet Project's Adoption Policy
We have a written application all potential adopters must fill out. Once the application is complete, we call all vet references to make sure their current pets are well taken care of (up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention, sterilized). If the adopter rents, we will call the landlord to make sure they are allowed to have pets and have no restrictions. We require a meet and greet with all of their current pets before adoption.
