Raine's Story
🐾 Raine - aka Ray-Ray - is ready for her new forever home🐾

Raine is a beautiful, petite, 4-year-old sable female who is now ready to begin the search for her forever home.

Raine has made wonderful progress in foster care, but she is still a sensitive, cautious girl who needs continued help building confidence and trust. She will thrive with a calm, patient family that understands her journey and is realistic about the time it may take for her to fully feel safe and secure. Slow and steady is the key with Raine — and the rewards will be worth it.

Raine loves being outside and finds comfort in fresh air and quiet surroundings. Recently, she has even started to play with toys — a lovely milestone that shows just how far she has come. She is quite nervous on walks so will need time and encouragement for her to feel comfortable.

We believe Raine would do best in a quiet home with no small children. A fully fenced backyard is required, as it provides her with a safe space to explore and decompress. Raine would also greatly benefit from having another confident dog in the home to help show her the ropes and provide reassurance.

Raine at a glance:
4-years-old female sable
Spayed, microchipped and up to date with vaccines
Sweet, sensitive and cautious
Best suited for a quiet, patient home with no small children
Fully fenced backyard required - Raine is a flight risk
Would do best with another confident dog in the home
Raine needs time, patience, consistency and understanding

Adoption fee is $550.00

Please note: Only families whose applications match Raine’s needs and criteria will be contacted and we only facilitate adoptions within Alberta.

Raine is a gentle soul looking for someone willing to meet her where she is and give her the gift of time.
